Adele Wins Big at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards

Adele did not just win the hearts of fans all over the world with her heartfelt songs about the guy who broke his heart but she also win big time in the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

She made an outstanding comeback after the throat surgery she went through. Not only did she receive a standing ovation for her clean and fabulous rendition of her hit song “Rolling in the Deep” but she also swept the six awards wherein she was nominated. “Rolling in the Deep” won Best Song to add to Adele’s haul of awards for Best Record, Best Album for her Breakthrough “21,” Best Short Video, Best Pop Album and Best Pop Artist — wins in all six categories in which she was nominated.

“This record is inspired by something that is really normal… just a rubbish relationship,” said Adele, adding: “It’s been the most life-changing year.”

“Oh, I got a bit of snot!” she said in her trademark British accent while wiping her nose and fighting back the tears from falling.

The guy who broke his heart definitely made her this big in the music industry but do you know which band served as the biggest inspiration for this 23-year-old British singer? Don’t be surprised but it is none other than the Spice Girls. “Even though some people think they’re uncool, I’ll never be ashamed to say I love the Spice Girls because they made me who I am.” Adele said.
